Derwent Anaesthesia currently has nine anaesthetists working in all of Hobarts major private hospitals/institutions.
We offer anaesthetists to regularly cover your list so you may build a working relationship with them. We feel this allows your anaesthetist to better understand your requirements for the procedure as well as allow for increased efficiency and overall patient safety.
We offer a 24 hour on call roster with the option to first call your regular anaesthetist and a backup anaesthetist should they be unavailable.
